As an advisor, Steven specializes in helping clients with every aspect of their financial lives, not just their investments. He focuses on developing honest, transparent client relationships and centers his practice on providing holistic financial planning. Steven also works closely with business owners, providing them with specialized service that is designed to fit their unique needs. Steven was originally drawn to the financial field while earning his bachelor’s degree at Auburn University. He began his career at E*TRADE, where he worked his way up to running his own book of business. Wanting to further expand his career, Steven joined UBS Financial Services as a wealth planning associate for the entire Atlanta market, including Buckhead, Dunwoody, Alpharetta and Greenville, South Carolina. During this time, he was responsible for helping financial advisors implement financial planning into their practices, as well as for building and delivering financial plans directly to clients. While at UBS, Steven acquired his Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ and Certified Financial Planner™ professional certifications, distinguishing him as a dedicated and knowledgeable financial professional. Steven also holds his Series 7, 63 and 66 securities licenses. Since joining Raymond James in 2019, Steven has focused on being a multigenerational advisor. “It’s exciting to establish relationships with clients knowing I plan to be in the industry for another 30-plus years,” he says. “I hope to be able to work with my current clients’ children and even grandchildren.” Steven feels that Raymond James is the ideal firm to help accomplish these long-term goals, since it enables him to draw upon a robust set of resources while still promoting personalized, boutique-style client service. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Steven resides in Alpharetta. We spent 30+ years in the fast-paced world of D1 college football life. John was the defensive coordinator at great programs including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Memphis, and East Carolina. While John was coaching at the University of Arkansas, we became very close friends with our next door neighbors, John and Karen Cole, who own Walker Brothers, which is to this day a thriving men's apparel store in Arkansas. We loved seeing how they combined great merchandise with building a community of friends. Charleen also discovered her eye and passion for quality merchandising. After living across the Southeast, John hung up his collegiate football whistle and we started our next dream by opening Clothes Horse Men's Apparel in downtown Alpharetta. We're built off of the things that are most important to us: quality merchandise, excellent service, community, inclusivity, and family. Our goal is to bring the highest quality, highest value goods to Alpharetta and the marketplace.
